Using the Website Access Lookup Tool

Securly Filter's Website Access Lookup Tool allows teachers and staff to quickly check if a website is accessible to students and, if necessary, grant access. Only authorized users can unblock restricted websites, while others can submit a request to school administrators.

Steps to Use the Website Access Lookup Tool

  1. Navigate to securly.com/lookup-tool or click on the "Lookup Tool" link in the footer of the Securly website.
  2. Enter the domain name you need to check.
  3. Enter the email address of the student or user for whom you are checking access.
  4. If you need to allow access to the website, you will see either an Allow Access or Request Access button based on your authorization level.
  5. If you click Request Access, an email will be sent to your administrator with the details of the domain you wish to allow access to. The admin may choose to allow or deny the request.
  6. If allowed, the website will be accessible for the duration or TTL set by the admin to temporarily allow sites.
