Completely Remove an iPad from Securly MDM

To completely remove an iPad from the Securly MDM so that it never comes back, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your ASM account, navigate to Device Assignments, and unassign the iPad from the MDM server associated with Securly MDM.

  2. Log in to the Securly MDM and go to Organization > Devices. Click on the name of the Device Group, check the box next to the device you want to remove, and select the blue Erase Device button at the top of the table.

    1. Select the option to remove the activation lock.

    2. Select the option to remove it from the Securly MDM.

    3. Click Erase Device

  3. If you cannot complete step #2, select the Remove (Unenroll) option from the dropdown menu on the right and manually factory reset the iPad.

After completing these steps, the iPad will be released from both ASM and the Securly MDM.
