Reasons Parents May Not Receive Activity Reports for Their Child
Parents may not receive activity reports for their child for several reasons:
- Emails have been paused by the administrator.
- They have unsubscribed from activity report emails.
- They have never logged into the Securly Home app.
- Their child does not have sufficient activity to report for that week. Students must generate at least three entries in at least one of the following categories for the activity report email to be sent: Educational, Search Queries, Videos, and Sites.
Note that only sites or searches from the allowed list are included in the email activity report. If a child accesses a blocked site or uses a blocked keyword, it will not count as an entry for triggering the weekly activity report email (the activity will still be logged in the activity tab of the Securly Home app or Parent Portal view). This is to prevent parents from being distressed by an active snapshot of their child if they have been accessing too many blocked sites or keywords. - Some activity categories may have been left unchecked, resulting in insufficient data for activity report emails to be sent.
