How do I verify if my school contacts are up to date in Aware for On-Call?
Log in to Aware.
From the left navigation bar, go to the Cases tab.
Click on the School Contacts tab, then select the school you'd like to update.
Review the listed contacts. To edit an individual contact, click the three dots next to their name.
Once you have made the changes, click Save.
To add or update multiple contacts:
Return to the School Contacts tab.
Click the Add button and select Contact.
Drag and drop your CSV file to upload the updated contact list or you can add contacts manually.
To update contacts using Securly Sync, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
Automatic Updates via Securly Sync:If a contact (e.g., principal) transitions from one school site to another, Securly Sync automatically detects this change during the nightly sync, ensuring the contact is updated at the new school without manual intervention.
If the new principal is not already in the system, they will be deactivated by default and need to be activated in the Aware admin UI.
Regular Review and Updates:
It’s important to regularly review and update your contact lists, especially at the beginning of the school year or after significant staffing changes, to ensure the correct individuals are alerted in emergency situations.
