Ensuring Sufficient Application Licenses for Distribution

When deploying applications to iPads and macOS devices, it is essential to ensure that a sufficient number of licenses are available for each application based on the number of assigned devices. If the number of licenses is insufficient, the application will not be installed on any device. For free applications, it is recommended to allocate approximately 20% more licenses than currently required to accommodate future needs or unexpected changes.

To verify that an application has a sufficient number of licenses, log into the Securly MDM and navigate to Content > Apps. Search for the app you wish to check and look at the License Count column. Ensure there are enough licenses for the number of devices assigned to the application.
