Can Students Be Added to an Activity After the Cutoff Time?
Yes, teachers, staff, and admins can add students to an activity after the cutoff time if the students are marked as “available.” A student is considered available if they have not been added by another teacher and are not scheduled for a higher priority activity during the same flex period.
Teachers and staff can add available students to activities for the current day (both before and after the cutoff time) as well as for future dates. However, they cannot add students to activities for past dates. Admins have the ability to simulate teachers or staff to add students for prior dates if necessary to correct Flex attendance. This action can only be performed from the “Student Attendance” screen, not from the “My Schedule” screen.
